Do you accept private health cover?

Yes, all our Remedial Therapists are health fund providers. HICAPS is available so please  bring your health fund card with you at the time of your appointment, and you can claim your health funded rebate immediately.

I have never had a massage before, what should I expect from my first appointment?

Your first appointment will involve a thorough assessment of your postural analysis, a functional test of your musculoskeletal  system and a series of questions about your particular complaint, after which an appropriate treatment plan will be devised.

What is Remedial Massage Therapy?

Remedial massage consists of a deep massage technique that enables skeletal muscles to return to normal health after an injury. It is also used to treat conditions created by lifestyle for example repetitive strain injury and back pain.
Massage therapists needs to have a thorough knowledge of anatomy and physiology to determine where to treat the patient and also to identify the source of the original biomechanical dysfunction. Thus treating the source of the problem rather than the symptoms.

What is the benefit of Remedial Massage Therapy?

Remedial massage is a form of massage that doesn’t set out to relax the patient; the goal is to fix a mechanical problem. However all-round health improvements are experienced such as: better sleep, an increase in vitality and performance levels as well as the increased mobility that you would expect.
Some common conditions that can be successfully treated are:
Tendinitis, shin splints, groin strain, tennis elbow, frozen shoulder, hamstring injuries, plantar fasciitis, whiplash, etc.

How much notice do I need to give to change/cancel my appointment?

At least 24 hours notice. Last minute cancellations or no shows may incur an administration fee of 50% of the treatment period. Please inform our friendly staff by phone, email or facebook if you need to reschedule your appointment.

What qualifications do you have?

All our massage therapists are trained in Australia and hold a Diploma of Remedial Massage Therapy HLT50307.
One of our therapists also hold a Bachelor degree of Sport and Industry.

How long should I make my appointment for and how much will it cost?

The normal appointment time is one hour. Depending on your time schedule, you can choose a time that suits you between 30 minutes and 90 minutes. A full price list is available from our website

Is there parking and easy access to the clinic?

Yes. There are several free council parking spaces available in front of the building. Our clinic is located on first floor. Please inform our friendly staff if you need assistance to walk upstairs. A full map and directions are available from our website

What are your opening hours?

Our opening hours are 7:30am to 7:00pm on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and 9:00am to 5:00pm on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Apart from remedial massage, what other services do you provide?

Trigger Point Therapy, Chinese Cupping, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Muscle Energy Techniques and Reflexology.
